The idea

Hunters, anglers, and boaters live and die by water levels, but checking gauge readings by hand, across scattered government sites, is tedious. GaugeKeep watches the gauges for you and tells you when something changes.

What we built

• Ingestion of live federal data: the National Water Prediction Service (NWPS) gauges and the National Inventory of Dams (NID).
• Accounts with the ability to browse, search, and filter gauges by location.
• A free tier that lets you track a gauge, set thresholds, and get email alerts when levels cross them.
• A premium tier (in progress) with unlimited tracking, billing, and an interactive map.
