WordPress → VercelRebuilt & migrated
1×Sign the waiver, once a year
4Admin tools in one dashboard
The challenge
The Public Timber Project runs volunteer cleanups and conservation events on public land. They needed a way to publish events, collect RSVPs online, and, critically, capture a legally sound volunteer waiver without shuffling paper at every event.
What we built
- A rugged, outdoorsy custom site to replace their WordPress build.
- An events system: staff create an event once and it appears on the site, with a toggle for volunteer sign-up events versus "come meet the team" appearances.
- Online RSVP with a built-in waiver e-signature that only asks returning volunteers to re-sign once a year or when the waiver changes.
- An admin dashboard for events, signed waivers, volunteers, and registrations, searchable and exportable.
- A night-before roster engine that compiles each event's signups and emergency contacts for quick reference.
Because they're a registered 501(c)(3), we also set them up on free nonprofit tooling and migrated their domain and email cleanly.
The result
Paperless waivers, online RSVPs, and a single dashboard that turns event-day chaos into a simple checklist.
